- GREAT RICE COOKER!!
I GOT THIS RICE COOKER AND IMMEDIATELY MADE SOME RICE AND IT CAME OUT ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I MADE SOME CHINESE JOOK (PORRIDGE) AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT.I USED THE SLOW COOKER TO COOK SOME SPARE RIBS WITH BLACK BEAN SAUCE AND IT CAME OUT TENDER AND PERFECT.THIS COOKER COOKS BETTER THAN ME AND THINKS BETTER THAN ME...WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE.VERY HIGH TECH!!

- Oatmeal disaster--hard to clean
It works well for rice, but don't try to cook oatmeal with this thing, despite the fact that it has a "Porridge" setting. Oatmeal goo will start bubbling out of the top and then you will spend a long time trying to clean up because oatmeal paste will have oozed into every nook and cranny of the cooker lid. You will not be able to take off the hinged top to clean it.

In retrospect, we would have been better off with a lower-tech alternative.
